“An incredible opportunity is waiting for you. Technology is changing the world by connecting billions of devices and improving how we live, work, play and treat our planet. No industry is immune. Are you ready to change your life, and possibly make the world a better place?”
Computers are the critical component pervasive across all careers, from accountants to zoologists and everything in between.
Computer knowledge and skills are necessary and valued in virtually every job market.
Computers and all forms of digital devices are now embedded in our society, and the need for skilled professionals to program, setup, maintain, network and troubleshoot these devices, will always exist.
With Cisco’s Networking Academy, high school students can develop these invaluable skills. In the program, students follow a structured learning path, rich in theory and hands-on hardware experience that is current to today’s standards, aligns with post secondary institutions and culminates in a meaningful and industry-recognized certification.
At Grover Cleveland High School, Information Technology/Computer courses are very popular and that is why we started Cisco Networking Academy which offers industry standard CCENT Certification classes. Students enroll in the Academy by selecting Computer Technology in Grades 10, 11, and/or 12. Each grade level produces a distinct certification with the possibility of gaining five unique certification including two Cisco certifications upon completion of Grade 12.
